I just discovered that AutoByTel’s pricing configurator works back to 1999 models.
To get there, go to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Click on any brand name on the left - in this case, Mitsubishi.
On the top left of the page, you’ll see the AutoByTel logo. Below that, “Home > Mitsubishi Cars > New Mitsubishi Cars”. Click the middle “Mitsubishi Cars” link.
Click the model you want, on the next page click the year, and on the next page click “Build Yours”.
Have fun! My 1999 Eclipse GSX worked out to $27,584, with the option 10 disc CD changer.

This is awesome.
My Infiniti is $29,990, with options selected. I could get it up to $34,709 with additional options. (Nav, 6 CD changer, communication system, heated seats). That’s $41,560 in 2015 money.
My 2002 Durango? $36,570 with options selected. $48,510 adjusted for inflation.
2000 Durango? $33,415 with options I have. $46,307 now.
If I’d bought all of these new when they came out, I’d have spent $99,975 in purchase price alone for all of these combined. Between the price I paid for all three of these, I’ve paid $4,000 total in just purchase price. Isn’t depriciation lovely?

Also, it seems that my ML is pretty well loaded.

I spec’d out the closest I could to my DD - a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville SE. It came out to $26,060.

I priced out all 3 of my vehicles, 20, 20, and 25. And people are bitching about a 20k car being expensive these days.

How was the 1.8t? There’s a B6 ultrasport with that engine near me and it's super tempting..

Very reliable motor that really didn’t have particularly excessive maintainence requirements. Not much power stock but it liked to rev and is very easy to tune. I kind of wished I kept the car because that engine would be fun to hot rod.

Yeah, I think if I get it I'll go single turbo and a pretty aggressive tune. I have two other cars that are perfectly reliable daily drivers (knock on wood) so I could go crazy with this.
